3. Who can use teache

The Service is intended for teachers and is available only to adults aged 18 or over who can form a binding contract. By using teache you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you use teache on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Accounts are personal to a single teacher and may not be shared. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

5. What the Service provides

teache helps teachers prepare curriculum documents aligned to the NaCCA curriculum. Depending on the document type, you can provide a topic, answers, instructions, an image or other source material; use guided or generated drafting; review and edit the result; and save or export it for teaching use. The available document types, their credit costs, pack sizes and current characteristics are shown on the Service before you use or buy them.

We are actively developing the Service and may add, change or remove features. We will take reasonable steps to notify you of a material change that affects an existing paid entitlement. The limitations of AI-generated documents are explained in Section 11.

6. Credits, pricing, payment and delivery

Certain actions in teache, such as generating documents, require credits. We may provide a periodic allowance of free credits, and you can buy additional credits in packs. The credit cost of each action and the price of each credit pack are shown before purchase and may change for future purchases. The displayed pack price is the complete amount charged by teache, including any applicable tax and teache fee. Your mobile-money operator, card issuer or bank may separately charge you under its own terms.

Payments for credits are processed by our payment provider, Paystack, using mobile money or card. Before submitting payment, you can review the selected pack and total price, change your selection, read or save these Terms, or close the Paystack window and withdraw without buying. Your purchase contract is concluded only when Paystack confirms a successful payment.

Purchased credits are normally added immediately after that confirmation. If confirmation is delayed, the Service continues to reconcile the transaction and shows its status in your billing activity. If we cannot supply the purchased credits, we will notify you and issue a full refund within seven days. There is no physical delivery. Credits are a prepaid entitlement to use the Service, which means:

  • they have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money;
  • they cannot be transferred to another account; and
  • free credits may expire at the end of each allowance period.

Your billing activity shows recent purchases, credits and reversals, and an authenticated receipt is available for a completed purchase. Contact us for an older transaction record that is no longer shown in the account. These Terms remain available at teache.app/terms and can be printed or saved for your records.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a purchase of paid credits within seven days after the purchase contract is concluded, without giving a reason and without a cancellation penalty. To cancel, email us at [email protected], identifying the purchase. We will reverse the credits granted by that purchase and initiate a full refund through the payment provider. Provider or bank settlement times may affect when the returned funds appear in your account.

We will also correct a duplicate or erroneous charge and honour any other refund, cancellation or remedy required by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Your content and ownership

The content you enter and the documents you generate in teache are yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide the Service to you, including transmitting it to our AI provider to generate documents as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your documents and we do not use your content to advertise to you.

9. Learner data and your responsibilities

The content you create may include personal information about your learners. You are responsible for that information, for having the authority to process it, and for including only what is necessary for your planning. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable use

You must use teache lawfully and only as intended. In particular, you must not:

  • attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the Service or its security;
  • access the Service by automated or scripted means;
  • resell or commercially redistribute the documents you generate;
  • share your account or its credits with anyone else; or
  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful or infringing content.

These rules are set out in full in our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. AI-generated documents

teache uses artificial intelligence to help you prepare documents. AI output can contain mistakes or omissions and is provided to assist you, not to replace your professional judgement. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and approving every document before you use, print or submit it. We do not guarantee that generated documents are accurate, complete, curriculum-compliant, or that they will pass any vetting or approval process.

12. Our intellectual property

The Service itself, including the teache name, software, design and the curriculum data we have compiled, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms do not give you any right to copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the Service or its underlying data, except the right to use the documents you generate for your own teaching.

13. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” while we continue to build it. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind about the Service, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, teache will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using teache and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Fair Use Policy, or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will contact you first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as content ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where the changes are significant, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you have a complaint, contact us first using the details below so we can investigate and try to resolve it. You remain free to use any statutory complaint or court process available to you.
