Fair use policy
This policy sets out how teache may and may not be used. It applies to every account. Your credits govern how much you can generate; this policy governs how the service is used. A teacher preparing documents for their own classes is not affected by it.
Permitted use
teache is for a teacher preparing curriculum documents for the classes they teach. Generating lesson notes, schemes of work, records of work, tests, exams and marking schemes for your own classes, within the credits on your account, is exactly what the service is for. You may print, edit and share the documents you generate with your school and your learners.
Prohibited use
You may not:
- Resell or commercially redistribute the documents you generate, for example by packaging teache output and selling it to other teachers or schools as finished notes.
- Share your account or its credits with anyone else, as both are personal to a single teacher.
- Access the service by automated or scripted means, including bots, scrapers and bulk-generation scripts.
- Disrupt, overload, probe or circumvent the service, including bypassing the credit system or any other usage control.
Running a school or a training program and need credits at scale? Contact us for a custom arrangement rather than sharing one account.
Enforcement
We monitor for clear abuse. Where we find it, we contact you first, explain what we have observed, and seek an arrangement that fits, whether a custom plan or the resolution of a misunderstanding. We may suspend or terminate an account for serious or repeated abuse, such as resale, sharing credits, or automated access that burdens the service.
Relationship to our terms
This policy forms part of our terms of service, which you accept when you create an account. Questions about it are welcome at [email protected].
