Frequently asked questions

The questions teachers ask most, from what teache covers to how it aligns with NaCCA, prints for vetting, and what it costs.

The basics

What is teache?

teache is the NaCCA planning and assessment workspace for Ghanaian basic-school teachers. It is one place to build everything you hand in, from schemes of work and weekly lesson notes to tests, exams and marking schemes, each grounded in the official curriculum and ready to print and sign. You start from a topic or a photo, and teache builds it with you. The roadmap shows what is live and what is coming next.

Which subjects and class levels are supported?

All 14 NaCCA subjects across B1 to B9, from Mathematics and English Language to Arabic and Career Technology. The full map is on the curriculum page.

Does it work on my phone, and do I need internet?

teache runs in your phone or computer browser, with nothing to install. You need internet while you plan, since the curriculum and the AI live online, but once a document is exported you can print or share it however you like.

Planning and the AI

Does teache write the plan for me?

You stay in control. In Guided mode teache builds the note with you, question by question, so it is in your words. Generate mode writes a full first draft from the curriculum and your seed, which you then shape and check. Either way you are the author, and you are the one who signs it.

Can I start from a photo of my scheme?

Yes. Snap or upload a photo of your scheme of work, a textbook page or your handwritten notes, and teache reads it into a seed you can edit, then plans from there. You can also just type your idea instead.

Are the plans NaCCA-aligned?

Yes. Every plan maps to the official NaCCA content standards and indicators for the topic you choose.

Printing and vetting

Will it pass vetting?

That is what teache is built for. Every document prints on the official GES layout, with the standard header, your school and class details, and the vetting block your headteacher signs. The reference and remarks fields are already in place, so there is nothing to reformat before you hand it in.

Pricing and privacy

How much does it cost?

teache is free during early access. When paid packs launch, you'll buy credits with mobile money (from GHS 15) and spend them per document. No subscription.

Is my data private?

Your plans belong to you. We send the AI only what is needed to build them, we do not sell your data, and you can export or delete your work at any time. The full detail is on the privacy page.
